LUCS New Boat

LUCS recently commissioned Glasgow based Marine Design International to design a new boat to be manufactured by A L Gordon. The completed boat will be handed over to LUCS later this year.

At a cost of over £140,000 (excl. VAT) the cost is being met from our own ‘New Boat Fund’ and considerable grant funding from the West Lothian LEADER Programme.

As with St Magdalene, the new boat will accommodate 40 seats, but will be wider at 3m and considerably longer.

Other design features include roof lights along the edge of the boat to give a better view of the surrounding countryside.
