Here’s the shape of LUCS’ 50^th anniversary year – it is going to be busy and we hope to see you sometime.

Sunday 30^th March – Mothers Day Tea Cruise (Already sold out! Other tea cruises available.)

Saturday 12^th April – Opening Day (weekend activities continue until 28^th Sep.)

Monday 14-18^th April – Easter weekday activities

30^th June to 22^nd August – Summer weekday activities

Sunday 10^th August – Fun Day & Cardboard Boat Race

Do you remember how derelict and unattractive the Union Canal had become by the 70’s and 80’s?

LUCS volunteers helped save it from that sorry state.

Now we all have a beautiful place to get on to the water and start exploring, celebrating or relaxing.

Our volunteers remain productive, and are currently refitting our flagship Victoria.

At over 50 years old she needs it, including a new electric engine!

We’ll keep her going for years to come – quiet, clean, and safe.
